Judgment (New Price Version)

• This is the New Price Version to be released in Japan this July 13th.
• In this version, a new character model and voice for Kyohei Hamura will be included.

Sega has announced on Tuesday that they will resume sales from the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio‘s Judgment or Judge Eyes: Shinigami no Yuigon (JUDGE EYES：死神の遺言 新価格版). However, this will be the New Price Version and it’s coming to Japan this July 18.

As you all know, Judgment‘s shipments and digital sales were halted last March because of the actor Pierre Taki’s charge of the illegal possession and use of cocaine. Taki takes on the role of Kyohei Hamura on Judgment. Then, Sega has thought a solution to this matter. The game company has announced the plans to replace the character model and voice for Kyohei Hamura on the Western release of Judgment. In the New Price Version, it will reflect on the changes for Kyohei Hamura.

Game Overview

This game takes you in the modern day of Tokyo, Japan. The main protagonist, Takayumi Yagami, is a private detective and a man with strong principles to fight for his beliefs despite the hopelessness he experienced. As he faced betrayal from his client, his credibility goes rock bottom not until he caught up in a serial murder case that might push his limits with his investigative skills to solve the case.

Players will dig deeper as a courtroom thriller and embodying being a private detective as the players must employ their investigative and critical skills to the unique game to unmask the hidden truth at the core of the game’s plot. What is the truth? There’s only one truth! What lies beyond the great suffering and failure to the main protagonist? Is it divine or is it sinister?
