Red Art Games has confirmed the physical release of the shooting game Castle of Shikigami 2 in the West. The Switch physical version for US and EU is set to launch this year! Stay tuned for that!

Shooting game Castle of Shikigami 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch. The game is set to make its debut on the said platform on April 13. In case you missed it, the game was initially released for arcade and GameCube in 2003 followed by its release on the other platforms in 2004. Players from all over the world, also got the chance to play the game in 2021 when the updated version was launch for PC via Windows.
According to the publisher, the updated version with new additional features that was released for PC in 2021, will be the one that will be ported onto the Nintendo Switch.
Game Overview
In 2006, a “twisted castle” suddenly appeared in the sky above Tokyo. A variety of stories unfold around the god-hunting armaments housed in this gigantic castle.
Players choose one of seven characters, each with different unique abilities, and use their shots, special Shikigami attack, and bombs to destroy the enemy. The unique backgrounds of each character are intricately intertwined, creating an interesting storyline for the shooter.
In between a total of 5 stages, different demos (stories) will be played for each character, and when playing with two players, a completely different story unfolds depending on the combination of characters used, all of which are fully voiced (in Japanese).
